I had an accidental fall on wed 18th Nov, as i split my lip hard with my front teeth, went to hospital said i needed to see a dentist as they were concerned Made a emergency appointment the following day at 8am and the next slot they could fit me in was 5:30pm (which was fine as i finished work at 4pm n took over counter medication to combat pain) went at 5:15pm to fill out paperwork and the receptionist i spoke to on the phone (sharon) and lady on reception, were very helpful with my nerves and MAJOR anxiety as i googled worse case scenarios I had my appointment with Dr Lee and she was very helpful and sympathetic to my fall and eased my worries again when i needed xrays even tho lip was stiched and teeth/gums were sore I had xrays taken and luckily i didnt need a extraction/root canal as my gums had absorbed most the shock, so the takeaway was i had to be on a soft food diet until sensitivty subsided i left feeling much better as i said previously was thinking worse case scenario would recommend this dental surgery to anyone

Really enjoy going to this office. The hygienist does a great job, and Dr. Kahn is very friendly and knowledgeable. I felt relaxed my entire appointment. Front desk staff are friendly and make you feel welcome, which I always appreciate. Would recommend to anyone looking for a great dentist in the downtown area.

Making the switch to W-dental was one of the best decisions I have made. The staff listened attentively to my concerns and gave me clear options for solutions. I previously had invisiline and conventional braces before visiting W-dental. I was not aware that the retainers I was provided after my treatments were not actually keeping my teeth in place, causing them to shift quite a bit. Dr. Kahn noticed this when I brought my retainers to a routine check up and provided me with a new clear set of retainers that would further prevent any future shifting. I was very upset that I had spent all that time and money on straightening my teeth only to find out that my after care was not doing what it was inteded to do. Dr. Kahn also addressed my sensitivity issues with great detail and care. All the staff are so knowledgeable and accomodating, From the front deck to the dentists themselves. I have complete trust in W Dental for my oral health!

I have been seeing Dr. Kahn since moving to Vancouver in 2005. He and his team are amazing, they are professional, knowledgeable and so friendly. I felt like I ripped off , I went to this office for just one sensitivity tooth. they should know about my insurance situation before doing extra works. I don't have any problem what so ever no pain, no trouble with my two front upper center teeth, Dr showed me it has very little gap and he wanted to fix it. So I said ok, I didn't know it would be over $600 ,it is really quick procedure but I think they charged three fillings?. Money was a big issue today otherwise it was good.

Everything is good except the paperwork filled in at the beginning. It’s unnecessary and opens up staff to more risk. That should be sent electronically to the patient before the appt. there should be zero physical contact at all if possible at the desk. This is a droplet disease and while everyone is obsessed with masks, handling any paper, pens etc just adds to the risk. Get rid of it. The clerical staff at places at more risk than is necessary.

I go here every 4 months and genuinely look forward to it. I actually don't know who the dentist's are, I'm sure they're fine but everyone else that works here is awesome, especially my hygienist, she really is my favourite and honestly if she left and went somewhere else I would follow her Jerry Maguire styles. If I have one critique it would be to maybe take some risks on the radio station selection from time to time? Or even splurge on Spotify and get some playlists going. Overall always a 5 star experience.

Dr. Lee and Neca are the very BEST! I had a molar removed last October, and the pain and experience of the extraction with Dr. Zhong. I had started to feel nauseous before the extraction, and the dentist made me feel stupid and threw a bag of cookies at me to crunch...the numbing had begun and I had no way of opening and closing my mouth around the cookies and ended up drooling wet baked mush all over myself. It was really embarrassing and I felt like a child. It was quite a traumatic experience as the freezing hadn't fully engaged, and Dr. Zhong was very heavy handed on my jaw and left severe pain and bruising during my recovery. Thankfully, the assistant Neca was always positive and calming. She was very understanding of my situation and helped me clean up physically and emotionally. Since then, I have been terrified to go for a cleaning or follow up. Cut to Monday morning and I had noticed what felt like a chip missing from the backside of one of my front teeth. I looked in the mirror and saw a red rim and instantly panicked. Knowing the importance of mouth care, I pushed through the fear and called W. I was fit in right away. From the moment I arrived, the staff made me feel calm. Neca was the assistant again, so I INSTANTLY felt at ease and happy to be taken care of. I was then treated by Dr. Lee - and SHE WAS INCREDIBLE. She could tell I was really nervous and made a point to reassure me that everything was going to be okay and that aside from my poor flossing from my past, my mouth was looking okay. We laughed about my panic - my tooth was not chipped, only the plaque and calcium build up. We scheduled a cleaning for me the week after...and I am actually EXCITED for my next appointment. It was the best dentist experience yet, and I am not even afraid of any future procedures as I know that Dr. Lee will take care of me every time.

Dr. Kahn is seriously the best dentist I've ever gone to. All hygienist I've visited have been so friendly as well. In particular, Roxanne is amazing, she always takes the time to make sure I'm comfortable. I've now successfully moved 5 friends and co-workers over to W Dental (in particular Dr. Kahn) and they have all commented on how great he is!

I have nothing but good things to say about W Dental on Cordova Street. The reception staff are friendly, welcoming and offer drinks on arrival. All hygienists and dentists are excellent and demonstrate due care and attention. They explain in detail if any work is required and what procedures to expect. All work is done thoroughly and with care. You are made to feel comfortable throughout the entire process. I highly recommend W Dental.

Dr. Ivan Khan is my doctor for over 5 years . Highest professional standard you can receive, trully golden hands he has. Also his office team is always up to date , very friendly, and punctual. I tried this dental office initially due to it's proximity to work. I am happy I did. The staff and friendly and do a great job to make you relaxed and give good dental advice. The hygienist a prefer is just great and Dr Kahn is a great dentist and very affable.

Great Dental care. The staff are always friendly and take excellent care throughout all teeth work. All health plans are looked after at this office so need need to do the claiming yourself. All matters are explained in detail using X-rays etc. I always leave with a good understanding of my mouth and it’s current state. They always want you to feel comfortable and give excellent customer service. I’m very happy to have W Dental as my dental practice.

Excellent team of great doctors and staff! Very attentive, professional, knowledgeable, experienced. Beautiful stylish office and very pleasant staff!.
