Dr. Lauren Doherty is a General Dentist at W Dental in Vancouver
Dr. Lauren Doherty is passionate about creating confident, natural-looking smiles for patients of all ages. She believes your experience in the office should be comfortable and takes the time to get to know each patient and create plans that are personalized and efficient in helping them achieve their goals.
A graduate of the Schulich School of Medicine and Dentistry at Western University, Dr. Doherty has been practicing family and cosmetic dentistry since 2020. She has a strong interest in orthodontics and smile design and enjoys helping patients achieve straighter, more balanced smiles using Invisalign clear aligners and orthodontic appliances. Whether it’s a subtle adjustment or a comprehensive transformation, she aims to deliver results that look effortless and feel natural.
Dr. Doherty’s clinical approach to restorative dentistry is rooted in biomimetic dentistry, a technique that uses materials and techniques that preserve as much healthy tooth structure as possible to restore strength and promote longevity. She also offers Botox for both therapeutic and cosmetic purposes, including relief from jaw tension and migraines, as well as softening fine lines to complement a patient’s overall smile.
Dr. Doherty enjoys working with patients of all ages and is happy to help make your child's next visit a positive one. She focuses on creating positive early experiences and helping children feel safe, relaxed, and confident at the dentist. Outside of the clinic, Lauren loves staying active and spending time outdoors. You’ll often find her hiking, climbing, or exploring the mountains, or playing softball and connecting with friends.
